The 7th Asia-Pacific Congress on Sports Technology aims to provide an international forum for scientists, engineers, educators and innovators from around the world who are involved in sports technology research, development and innovation. The congress also aims to actively engage with the broader sporting industry through site visits and specialist workshops.

This is a major international event in the field of sports technology, organised bi-annually in collaboration with partner’s worldwide and leading organisations in this field. The congress has been held in Australia, Japan, Singapore, USA and Hong Kong over the last decade and in 2015 heads for the first time to Europe in Barcelona. Participants will be able to present and discuss the latest trends and findings, and learn about the state-of-the-art in their particular field(s) of interest. A broad range of topics and application areas have been devised to reflect the interdisciplinary nature of the congress. Industry panel discussions will be facilitated in key areas of interest to the broader research community.

All papers accepted for the congress are double blind peer reviewed by international experts and will be published by Elsevier in a hardback book under the Procedia Engineering series.
